Everest Three Passes Trek is one of the most thrilling, fascinating and adventurous trip with a traverse of 3 high passes Renjo-la 5,388 m, Cho-la 5,380 m and Kongma-la passes 5,535 m. Everest Three High Passes is least trekked route in the second busiest trekking region after Annapurna area.
Everest Three Passes Trek leads through many traditional Sherpa villages famous as mountaineers and warm hospitality and has been a high altitude porters and guides since several decades in Khumbu valley.
This adventure trip starts from the small airstrip at Lukla and then towards least visited area at Thame, and then exploring Khumbu valley to cross Renjo-la and scenic Gokyo valley.
We hike continue towards the 2nd pass Cho-la to reach Everest Base Camp and climb of Kalapathar. Our highest point of this adventure trip is 5,545 m at Kalapathar and then last high pass of this trip over Khongma-la pass.
Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 2: Fly to Lukla 2,830 m & trek to Phakding 2,640 m – 4 hrs
Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 5 hrs
Day 4: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion.
Day 5: Trek to Thame 3,800 m – 5 hrs
Day 6: Trek to Marlung 4,137m – 5 hrs
Day 7: Trek to Lungdeng 4, 600m – 4 hrs
Day 8: Cross Renjo- La 5,465m and trek to Gokyo Lake 4,800 m – 7 hrs
Day 9: Hike to Gokyo Ri 5,330 m and trek to Thagnag 4,750 m – 4 hrs
Day 10: CrossCho – la Pass 5,367 m and to Dzongla 4,850m – 7 hrs
Day 11: Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m – 5 hrs
Day 12: Trek to Gorakshep 5,170 m and to Everest Base Camp 5,360 m
Day 13: Hike to Kalapathar 5,555 m and trek to Lobuche – 4 hrs
Day 14: Cross Kongma La 5,535m and to Dingboche 4,340m – 7 hrs
Day 15: Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m – 5 hrs
Day 16: Trek to Monjo 2,860m – 6 hrs
Day 17: Trek to Lukla – 4 hrs
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
